With the government delivering over $2 trillion in aid as part of its response to COVID-19, eligible taxpayers will receive payments of $1,200 for individuals, $2,400 for married couples, and up to $500 for each qualifying child.
Eligible taxpayers who filed tax returns for either 2019 or 2018 will automatically receive an economic impact payment which will be deposited directly into the same account reflected on the return filed.
